Located at 77 Tran Phu street, Hoi An city, Quan Thang ancient house is one of the most beautiful old houses there. The house is more than 150 years old, with the architectural style of China's Huaxia region. The entire vivid and delicate architecture and wood carving of this house are made by artisans of Kim Bong carpentry village. The appearance of the house helps us to partially imagine the lifestyle of generations of house owners, who belonged to the merchant class in the previous Hoi An trading port.
Quan Thang ancient house architecture is a unique form of house architecture, narrow in width and deep inward.

Entering the house, you will see the truce style of "passer" in the main roof structure, which is a small covered space overlooking the courtyard with a beautifully decorated "stacked" truss. Opposite the courtyard is the crab-shell truce. The wall around the courtyard is beautifully decorated with Chinese ceramics, and the animal designs are bold in art.

The outermost part of the house has 2 large wooden stalls to display goods, inside is the living room and the place of ancestor worship. The wooden altars, furniture, and parallel sentences here are all meticulously carved, contributing to the prosperity of the ancient trading port of Hoi An. Connected to the back house are a courtyard with trees, an aquarium and a small house. The fourth house is also a place for family members, and finally the kitchen and storage.
